The cliff walk is completely free β park at the top car park and walk both headlands. The village beach is pebbled but free. Visit at sunrise if you can.

A car gives much more flexibility in Normandy but is not essential β trains serve Rouen and Caen, and coaches connect the D-Day sites from Caen in summer.
